Talent shmalent! I'm no more talented than anyone else. I used to be into art in a big way when I was in school as a youngster but that was drawing and painting. This is a whole different ball game. All it takes is practice and experimenting. That's why I use plastic electrical wall switch plates. 75 cents each so if I mess it up, who cares. I just keep working on it to develop my skills and learn to use the tools in different ways to get different effects. It's very relaxing to sit and put tiny holes & lines in something. Then when you wipe it over with paint and clean it off, you'll be hooked! I know I was. If you look at my page you'll see the ones I've done. The bear was the first one. This squirrel is the latest. You can see the difference in the hair texture and shading. I still have a long way to go to get where I will some day be. Give it a try, Charles. There are several people here who can give good advice and supply information.

I envy people with talent.  If I tried to do a squirrel you probably couldn't tell if it was supposed to be a squirrel or a deer!
