Honestly as far as fit and finish goes. RR has had better fit and finish than CASE.  Cases Grinding has been pretty bad for the price rise in the last few years. I had a Buffalo Horn folding hunter that the grind was so bad I sent it back to case to be corrected. They did but for the cost it really should not have happened. I like the looks of the RR. that I have that can be seen here on IKC.

oh very good!  Well Done!

I have not been a fanboy of the One Arm Man knife style, and honestly have not previously admitted to owning a RRR to anyone as I was actually a little embarrassed that I had given in to the temptation of the low prices (and lower perceived quality) of the RR brand.  I had gotten a couple of RRRs because I liked the improved blade steel, and the price was still 'low' comparatively.  I paid $38 for each of them after shipping and taxes.   Elephant Toenail design - white micarta and cinnamon bone (CB) handles respectively.  I am pretty sure the CB ones are out of stock pretty much everywhere by now.  Not sure about the micarta.

I was mildly impressed with the fit and finish on my RRR knives.  I have not heard much in the way of exceptional reviews on the RR knives yet.

Thanks Lars as I have said and continue to believe. Even a Blind winkler can find good things from time to time. I will admit I have to first want the knife to sacrafice the $$$ for it. an ADVANTAGE OR DISADVANTAGE is Being retired gives me extra time to look research prices, & shop and decide if I want to spend the $$$ for it.  I have become a fan of the Rough Rider/Ryder knives. Especially the Cinnamon bone ones & Cotton sampler Blades.   These reserves are a bit more expensive. I have found them to range in price from  a total of about $35.00 from a National seller, to the bay price of $56.00 plus tax with shipping pushing the price to over $60.00 each. Now this knife came off ebay and it was an auction! I bid $12.50. I thought the shipping was high at $10.00 but overall I came out giving $24.69 for it total.  A little less than some are advertising them.

As always Mike - well done. You always seem to winkle out the good finds!
