well after being charged by a grizz a couple years ago...my fathers Remington 870 Wingmaster with slugs accompany me to the kills now...the knife used was a Scott Gossman Semi-skinner in A2 steel and his convex/ flat grind...great knife

Good idea on the 870. I understand that sometimes the grizz think it would be better for them to have the kill instead of you!
