Had a great time this past weekend!  Jade and I broke out the pop-up for the first time ever, and it was awesome.  Even in the downpour of rain Saturday night.

We certainly missed you and Donnie, Jan.  Hope you both get feeling better soon!  As hard as we tried to break away to get out to see you, things just seemed to have other plans.  We are so sorry about that!

Tony and I had a personal grinding lesson by Andy Roy (owner of Fiddleback Forge).  Learned a lot of tips, tricks, and hacks.

Recently I have been pulling up pictures from childhood to current day.

In my adulthood some of the best memories aside from my family, are at this Hammer In. Part of that is meeting folks I have only talked with online.

This week I even watched an old video of our very first time there and one of my grandson on the anvil during Covid  iKC You Tube. It was here at Trackrock where Donnie found his love of the forge. It is where we watched the kids eyes light up when they his the steel and then hold a small creation in their hands. I have watched all but one of my own grandchildren learn the craft, The last one starts with this hammer in and I cant wait to record it.

With well over 20 Trackrock Hammer Ins under our belt now, I have realized we still feel the same way.

For us the goal is always getting one younger person a year interested. It means the skill will survive and somewhere out there an anvil is ringing. So come on---Join us, bring the family and enjoy something old becoming new
