Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This is a slip joint that Mike over at Collector Knives had Lionsteel make as a Collector Knives exclusive. He had them made in various covers, but I kind of liked the ram's horn. As you can see in the photo, steel on these is M-390 (something you don't often seen in a knife of this type) and blade length is 3 inches. Bolsters are titanium. Also unique about these is that the liners are pinned, but he bolsters and covers are screw construction (leaving the option for easier customization with various cover material). Also, the blade rides on washers (tension is adjustable with a pivot screw under the bolsters) providing a very smooth blade deployment.

That's a beautiful knife...  I'm usually attracted to the tactical Lionsteel knives, but this one is incredible...  I haven't taken the leap on any of the Lionsteel knives I like simply because the handles always just seem too small -- but with this design, I don't think that would be an issue.

Thanks Rick .... I think he's got a few left on his site.  Lionsteel did some really nice covers ... abalone, carbon fiber, santos wood, stag, and the ram's horn.

Dennis,

That is a great looking knife. It is one of the first 'modern design' knives that interests me. Thanks for sharing. Rick
