Most of the ones in the $100.00+ price range woulg probably be stag. The average price seems to be about $70.00 for bone about now. Check around for best prices.

oh ok thanks! i would like to get one, but probally shouldnt spend that kind of money right now. it is a beautiful knife! i still dont understand why it is so cheaper than the other seahorses, is it because of the # made, or the material? i see most of the other ones are made with bone, or stag. this one is $50 and the others are around $120!! what a difference!

OOPS...
Only way that I know how to get them anymore is to go to the Seahorse Whittler Users group and check out the discussion on the Rod Neep pages. You can access them by copying the link and pasting it onto a new browser.

I picked mine up at Lowes (before they stopped selling CASE knives). I'd say that $56.00 total, would be a good price now. They made 3000 of them.

Supposedly, when they're opened up they look like a seahorse. IDK
Whatever they're called, I love em.
