This is a Carving made from the 60,000+ year old Mammoth Ivory that I lost the tip of my right middle finger to cutting on a BiMetal Band Saw... The Ivory makes a Grobet Swiss Jewelers file skip/cut.... making it as hard as High Carbon steel.... It took me 5x as long to carve as 10,000 year old Mammoth, Mastodon, or Walrus Ivory....
