Featured Comment by dead_left_knife_guy on March 23, 2019 at 23:29: I don't know, I think there's a very good chance it's real -- with year 7 students mocking the anti-knife policies (or any number of other things, including law enforcement) by being smart-arses & "turning in their scissors". Totally sounds like something a lot of my friends & I would have done in junior & senior high.

And the joke's on the Ealing Police. If so, this could explain why Steve couldn't find it on their page -- someone was bound to catch on eventually.
