About Me: Married 32 years, we have 3 kids, 6 grandkids and at least one more on the way. My wife and I have been self-employeed custom cabinet and furniture makers for the past 20 years.

Interests: I like to fish, hunt and camp. If I can be doing those things with family and/or friends, I like 'em even more.

Other Hobbies: Arrowhead hunting, building and playing guitar, knifemaking and knife repair/restoration

Knives without tang stamps or not in the books?

Over the years I've come across a few knives that have no tang stamps or tang stamps I couldn't find in the modest collection of price/identification guides that I have on hand. Here are 2 or 3 examples. I'd be interested in hearing and/or seeing any others iKC members might have in their collections.

The story of the 1942 Imperial W.C. Fields/Mae West Toothpick

My Grandpa bought this knife for my collection back around 1970 from an antique store out in Wichita KS. Even though the story that went with it was fun, there was no written documentation and he always asured me that he paid no high premium for it.
