Opinels. I have been doing carved Opinels for a long time now. The carbon blades are superb and the handles just cry out to be carved !

I have been a woodcarver for a long time. Currently I am making slingshots and slingbows. previously I made whips. But I have always been asked to do personalised carved Opinels (and other knives) for folks

Hi Ruth. I have been thinking about making a sea siren folder were a damascus blade would fold into an half ivory, half wood handle. I have a scrimshander that would do her upper half in the ivory and I thought it would be cool to have the lower half carved out of the wood. You would have complete artistic freedom to perform your work. Interested?
