The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I have been cleaning a knife that once I was able to open it and get the blade cleaned, I found a tang stamp that says, ‘John Primble, India, Steel Works’. It has metal scales with ‘I KUT’ on one side. I have not been able to find any info on this knife. I would appreciate any info any of you might have. Thanks

Nice old stamping !
I had no idea what I had. I bought a Kamp King knife on ebay and the seller included this knife. He said it was in rough condition and could not get it open. I am sorry to see the blade is so pitted. But I am pleased with my progress so far on the knife.
thank you all for your comments.
I have a few Primbles and love them....very classic look and feel to them.
