Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

OK the October items trickled in so I will post what I have.

Let's start with a non-folding fixed-blade knife.  I don't have too many but this one caught my eye because of the horn handle and the inlaid turquoise at the base.  It's a Holly for those that want to know.

It is inscribed Holley on one side and 2001 on the other.

The folder is a Winchester (kind of).  I only have one or two of this brand. The photos don't show the beautiful yellow handles that caught my eye.  The blade is inscribed 1 of 150 below their famous rifle.

The knife is actually a Case XX and my eyes have trouble with their dot dot system, I think 10 or 11 dots (?) and the model is 3254.

And last today is the Connecticut Angling License/badge.  I love this badge and I am glad I decided to buy it.  I don't know about collecting them, but.....

A fishing badge!  Who woulda thunk it??  If you see them, think about picking one up for your own collection. Or if you are thinking of starting a new collection wouldn't these be great?  Don't take up a lot of space, not outrageously expensive because not a lot of folks are buyers, and they are so cool.

I also liked the bandaid in the first pic of your Holly!! I've seen a lot of those fishing tags. They were very popular because not a lot of people carried wallets to keep a paper license and they didn't have the plastic holders back then. They would make a great additional accent piece to a collection of fish knives or an outdoor themed collection. They also had metal back tags for hunting licenses that I've seen. It's funny how you wish you'd have bought some things you saw years ago before you had a real interest in them! A great score Lee!!!!

I love how you have a BAND-AID handy in the first photo. These all look like they would be welcomed additions in anyone's collection. Congratulations, Lee!
