The knife that I am paying the most for is a fixed blade.  I say paying because I don't actually have it yet.  All I have paid so far is a deposit.  It is custom knife I am having made with antler from one of my deer kills for scales.  This is the knife I am having made with the exception of my deer antler for scales.

Folder, only because collecting  fixed blades is usually out of reach of my pocketbook- Seriously collecting fixed blades is usually a rich man's game, and I ain't rich.

The vote is now 6 folders to 4 fixed blades because I'm voting for Fixed Blades. I'll tell you why, I like Custom Knives and it is much cheaper to get a Custom Fixed Blade than it is to get a Custom Folder. Also, I'd like to hand down my knives I use to my Grand Daughters and think that a Fixed Blade may have a longer usable life.

I think though Vote will end up with Folders winning.

The most (and least) I've spent has been on folders.

hmm....probably a folder. It's what I've spent most on so far. Worth every penny.

I'm in the market for a fixed blade, but at the moment, spend all my money on folders.
