$100.00 gift certificate and a Protoype....Help a GREAT cause and bid soon

The bidding on the Prototype #48 Dogleg and $100 Gift Certificate is up to $200 as of this weekend. That's a great start and we've got just under 2 weeks left before the auction ends on 6/22. I'm going to keep reminding you that even if you're not interested in bidding, pass the word along to your friends and fellow collectors. Not only is this an opportunity to grab onto a genuine Great Eastern Cutlery Prototype, it's your chance to make a contribution to help out our wounded Vets coming back from combat.

Just to remind you how important the Wounded Warrior Project is, I want to share an email I received this week. I've withheld the senders name and unit info.

Greg - I have talked to you in the last week or so about EDC Great Eastern knives. I just found out today about your contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project.

I just want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, as best as I can. Thank you.

(Formerly: Sgt, US Army 1969-1972; Vietnam 1970-71 - 100% service connected disabled -- I was 19 when i was decorated 3 times and promoted to Sergeant).

Not to draw attention to me, but just to let you know I have "been there, done that, got the tee shirt"; as maybe you have.

From the Bible, Romans 1:7 ; "May you have undeserved kindness and peace from God and the Lord Jesus Christ"

Thanks again - your actions speak volumes that people still care about the warrior; not the war.

Just a note, I wasn't there, I didn't go through any of it, but that doesn't mean I don't care. "...that people stll care.about the warrior, not the war". I couldn't say it any better than that.

I'll remind you all again that the winning bidder will receive a $100 Gift Certificate that can be used for any items in the TSA Knives store PLUS the Prototype Dogleg Trapper so generously donated by Great Eastern Cutlery. To bid go to: http://blog.tsaknives.com/

We have a Winner of the Wounded Warrior Project Auction Knife!!!
Congratulations to Dave S. for placing the winning bid of $375 for the Great Eastern Prototype Dogleg Trapper donated by Great Eastern Cultery and the $100 Gift Certificate to the TSA Knives store. I think it was fantastic that Great Eastern Cutlery eagerly stepped forward (without being asked I'll add) with their generous donation and it speaks volumes about them as a company.

Thanks to everyone that bid on the knife and helped get the word out regarding the auction, but thanks in particular to Dave for his generous bid. Not only is Dave the proud owner of a great collectible GEC, but he's done a great thing for our returning wounded Vets.
