2010 iKnife Collector Club Knife Update

Talked to A. G. Russell the other day and he said our knives should be in next month. I've emailed you who have reserved one and a few of you have yet to respond with your address, so if you let me know you wanted one and didn't get my email, please contact me at scott@iknifecollector.com

I ordered a few extra if any of the new members who joined since I took the order want one. It is a modern- day JUMBO Sunfish, as A. G. calls it.

For you who may not know, this design hasn't been made for over 100 years, other than a few customs. The Jumbo was invented by C. Platts' Sons back around 1900 and were only made for a few years.

It was made as a hard-core work knife and Platts was the only firm who produced them, up until their merger with W.R. Case & Son in 1905. Case may have made them after the merger as there are Case stamped Jumbo with the "s" on Sons, probably so.

If you want info on our first iKC club knife, please contact me directly and I'll forward detailed info and price. scott@iknifecollector.com

I hope it's smooth action.... that pull is close into the tang and like AG I'm getting brittle thumbnails... Just kidding... I did see it AG's photos the inter mechanics are unique if I recall.... Could have dreamt that but I'm sure that a ET guy like you is seeking nail stress relief as much as the rest of us.
