Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I have looked around and I can not find one knife club that has had a knife maker, make their club knives. There very well may be some but I can't find them. This should make our knives this year kinda rare.

September is almost here, along with the due date for this years knives. I am starting to get excited, this will be my third, one.

I want to thank Miss Jan and the staff for their hard work, in getting this years knife project, completed. Also, to everyone that added their opinions on what type knife, we should have. We can start debating again soon, for next years knife....lol

If anyone has any thoughts or info about this years knife, please use this Blog to express them.

Robert, I have never seen it before. I guess you could technically call it a Single Spearpoint blade, Barehead, Slip joint, Canoe, Jack Knife with Nickel Silver bolsters and pins, with red pickboned scales.

Yes, that's right. A Barehead Canoe. Very rare, though. You don't see this pattern often. Well, I don't.

Well Jeff calls it a Gentleman's Canoe.  Bareheaded Canoe sounds reasonable, it is what it looks like

Comment by Jess Cobb on August 25, 2013 at 15:33

Robert, I would call it a Bareheaded Canoe.

I was wondering what pattern, you would call this years knife? A Canoe, Copperhead or even a Barlow. It sort-a looks like it could be any of them.
