My Buck collection as of May 2017

I've shown various versions of this photo elsewhere on IKC, so instead of posting in a thread again I thought I would post this here as sort of a virtual storage area for current photos of my collection, kind of an IKC version of "cloud storage".

What differs in this photo is that it also contains my "other" Bucks, including my EDC's, (#310, #312, #314), and my two #110 Folding Hunters. None of those were shown in the case in the other photos I've posted. The only Buck missing is my #105 fixed blade, which resides in another case. This is my entire collection of Buck folding pocket knives in one photo as of this date.

When I leave my apartment for any extended period of time I put this entire case and contents into a locked cabinet, I'd put them in a safe if I had one, so locking them in a cabinet is the next best thing, then I hide the key. I figure if they want them bad enough, they may as well have to work hard to find them.

Ha, thanks JJ, works for me. I was raised by an unapologetic junker and a machinist, so it's literally not in my dna to let a perfectly good wooden box go to waste. Got the box for $4 at a thrift store, spent another $3 on replacement hinges; easy peesy nice & easy presto chango and we've got a usable pocket knife storage/display box. I'm pretty sure my mom is giving me a thumbs up from heaven on this one.

Love the repurposed flatware chest, Syd.

Without a safe this seems to be a good option and it keeps them all together so they dont get lonely LOL
