Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Two more down to earth, friendly and customer focused folks you couldn't possibly hope to meet.  A busy table indeed.  With everything going on this weekend Michel took the time to speak with me whenever he thought he had  moment..  Below is some recent work, the collection is now owned by SMKW.

New materials for the Painted Pony knives that will be on handles and showing up within a few weeks.  You see them first right here....

another sample of the beauty he produces

And the collection of GEC collaborations

When I asked Micheal Prater one question , his answer did not surprise me.

ME: What one thing will you be focused on in 2013?

Michael:  Thats an easy one:  Keeping our customers happy!

Michael, Thank you for making the show move lovely by bring you wife with you and making it more fun by educating me on how you create the magic!

I absolutely prize the 2 "Paul" Defenders I have that he did for Lone Wolf before the buyout. The Turquoise and Gold inlay Defender is my favorite.

When I get home I will try to get us  bigger pic of those materials.  I think I can expand it on the PC.  His work is indeed incredible and it's nice to hear someone talk about a knife as a peice of art.  Micheal says he can look at the knife and "see" what it can be.  His passion for knives and the folks that collect them is evident when you talk with him.
