I traded for a small collection and this Swiss Army knife was in it.

Stamped on the blade I "jahner am zoo berlin 12"

Anyone interested or can tell me more?

The knife is a Victorinox Bantam variant and the etching looks like a souvenir shop who sells knives and such. I did a quick Google search and found more cutting instruments with the "jahner am zoo berlin" markings on it. The shield design is the "economy" style hot-stamped variety. The scales are missing the insert slots since they are of the "economy" class as well. The small tool is called a combo tool and functions as a cap lifter/bottle opener and a can opener. The little slot is for wire bending or striping.

It is for a business. My German isn't what it used to be but it seems to a store that sold razors or was some type of specialty hardware store. that is located near the Berlin Zoo.  The store was founded by Johannes Jähner.

What you have is a variation of the Bantam: Victorinox Bantam

It's a nice keepsake. I'd hang on to it if I were you.

I have a few souvenir knives and few  advertising knives.  I tend to hang onto the ones that have a personal meaning to me or  feature well known places or businesses. (or just seem cool!)

Most SAKs that advertise a business usually do so on one of the handle scales.  Which is cool because is the business is unimportant you can swap the handle out easy it enough.

the etching on this one is on the blade
