Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Love them or hate them  they are a part of Case history-At the suggestion of Jan and a few others I would like to see an ongoing discussion about the "Classics". I have a pretty fair collection, and judging from past posts, many others of you do,too.I would love to see what else is out there in the world of the "Classics".I'll start with my collection of 2007 1/2 light trappers as seen on page 66  of " Case Classics-Best In The Long Haul".This is my complete collection from that page +1 more.

Nice ones John!!

I don't have any, but I'll enjoy looking at everyone else's!

Case Classic at it's finest !

Purty Sue!

That is a beauty, Sue !! I'm also pleased to see this discussion starting to gain a little more traction. I have other "Classics" to share, but I'm hoping some other members will begin to share theirs, too. I know what mine look like, would love to see what else is out there in IKC land. I'll show you mine if you show me yours !! LOL

Hello John,

The Mastodon prototype is a beauty! Looking at the rest, I would have to say they are all very nice knives you got yourself.

Thanks Jakub,

That Mastodon Prototype is one of the most valuable knives in my collection, so the knife guides say. I have several more Classics, just waiting for others to join the discussion. BTW ,that Blue  Swirl I purchased from Jim Parker isn't real easy to find, either.

beautiful Classics-- I only have a few

Steve,

IMHO owning a  few Classics is better than owning none at all !!  You have some excellent examples, my friend !! I always loved the barn door hinge look, and the Sea horse whittler, as well. My favorite is the melon tester, only because my grandfather always carried a Case melon tester on the farm when I was growing up. Seeing yours brings back some fond memories. I only wish I had my grandads's original one !!

1992 Case Cassic Green Rogers Bone GROG6254 Standard Trapper with bomb shield--What makes this knife special is the rare Gowanda, NY  tang stamp.

Oh my that is a beautiful knife!

Thank you Steve, I really like this one, myself. !! This knife is not even listed in Jim Parker's '" Case Classics" Best In The Long Haul " !! -They only listed it as being made in red bone with the Gowanda, NY tang stamp. But then again ,they didn't list my 2007 !/2 Mastadon Ivory prototype trapper, either.

Very nice I like the 055 whittler
