That one knife that no respectable knife collector should have but you have anyway.

Do you have knife that is seriously an embarrassment to your collection but you like and display it anyway?"  Even more, you have  no shame in owning it and will share a picture of it here! I actually have several but this is one of my faves!   And strangely many non-knife collectors love it!  I've actually given it away twice as gifts only to buy it again!

I call it the Werewolf Slayer.  Sure the blade is just make believe silver but seeing how werewolves are also make believe, that's close enough!

Surprisingly the 7+ inch blade is razor sharp and made of 440 Stainless Steel. The handle is pot metal and plastic as is the scabbard.  The blade has a tang about three inches long that is pretty much glued in the handle.  Still it could be lethal considering how sharp and pointy it is!  I like to drop sheets of paper and cut them half this knife.

So what is your embarrassing piece of cutlery look like?

Now that is tempting.  Hopefully no one else is reading this thread!

Tobias, I just found this one.  The current bid is $10 with $10 shipping.  There is an hour and a half to go on the auction.

Did you win it? It sold for $10 with 1 bidder.

As much as I wanted to bid I had to pass.  I've got my eye on another item that is coming up tomorrow that I really, really, really want and I need every penny I got left.  Kicking myself for spending $60 on a Case knife this morning!  So many knives -- so little dollars.

On the bright side I see those knives come up about every other week in my saved searches so eventually it will be there when the money is there.  Thanks for showing it tom e Brad.  It was agaony to pass on it now hoefully the stars will align and I will the other knife I want even more! (Otherwise I know I'm going to kick myself twice!)

This one. It would go in the next POS exchange if it hadn't been a gift.

was this the Commancheros Knife?

Sorry, I have no idea. Just looks like something from the Bradford Exchange to me. It's made in a Pacific Rim country.

I will see that John Wayne knife:

and channeling my inner Duran, Duran  " Hungry Like a Wolf" I raise you this:

Steve -- I fold

LOL!  I need to dig into my box-o-knives today.  I'm sure I can find something that qualifies.

Ha! The wolf did it!
