so far ive made an mp3 player mount for my truck (glued a spring clamp to it so it dosent move on me), a butterfly knife and pocket knife neck holster, and a neck holster for my uzi tactical thrower (didnt come out half bad considering i didnt leave enouf room for the screws... so i sow'ed it...lol)
sorry my lighting is no good... it would be better if i wasent using a cell phone to take the pic...

ya thats kydex i drilled a hole every ~1/4 in (i eyed it so its not exact 1/4 all the way around)... i think they call it box stiching... but idk for sure...
theres a hole at the end were youd put ur ball n chain through... but u cant see it... and i dont have any ball n chain right now...

You can make a press with some camping mats and plywood I've never tried but some say it works well.

i had some foam blocks that were dense enough to use for a press but the heat from the kydex melted it to my projects...

i know what you mean by having a buckle... my Ka-bars hard sheath has them leg straps it would be really east with buckles... i added a tech-lock to it so its easy on-easy off

you could use a file, but don't use an aggressive one use like a metal (a file used for metal)
