The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Ok, so I am a sodbuster collector. I've located the Yellow, Burgundy, and Black Delrin #70, The Green Micarta #70, and the Green Micarta #1500. I've seen pics of some other colors of the #70 on places like pinterest and instagram, but I can't locate any information on them. What's a sodbuster collector to do? Do any of you have any pics/info on all the sodbuster style models Queen has released over the years so that I might hunt some down?

Gary,
Good question but I think I know the bast place to find the answers. YES, I would love to see some pics of these!
Today's internet scouring has pulled up a Red Alabama one with an "A" for the shield, a black cherry delrin, a stag handle one, and a Schatt and Morgan Stag one. There may be others too. Thanks for the pic, this looks like it'll be as hard to get my hands on as the GEC Micarta #71's are proving to be.
Jan, I'll get pics of them when they get here and can take a pic of them all together. Seems like the Sodbuster hunt won't end anytime soon :)

I do not know the history of this pattern, but it sure looks and sounds like it was derived from Case's Sodbuster. Great work knife. The report David Clark refers to shows fairly limited variation in catalog knives over the past 30 years -- "Ain't broke..." So delrin goes with a work knife.--- so some of the stag and other versions are special orders.
Special orders mke sense there, wonderbhow many they mke of them?
The Schatt and Morgan stag sodbuster was only 100 made in 2007. Might be pretty hard to track down.
