I couldn't have said it better, Charles.
Thanks for the update, Jan.
It sounds very encouraging.
Please give Donnie our best.
And tell him to quit goldbrickin', will ya! <grin>
Jan you and Donnie are a true blessing to us all here. If not for you two, most of us wouldn't even know each other. Some of the best friendships I have, have been formed right here at iKC, because of you Jan. I know Donnie supports us as well, even though he doesn't like getting on the computer. Prayers will continue for both of you!
Jan, so glad Donnie is doing better, Praise The Lord, God Bless you both. Ken
Very glad to hear this Jan!
I just spoke with Donnie and the Dr told him I can come get him around noon or so. CAN YOU SEE THE HAPPY DANCE??
Alas not being a person who pray's very often I cannot do much about this post on Facebook. I thought some of you folks might be able to help out though,
"Just got this message from Rev Andrew White the Vicar of Baghdad.
The islamist group (ISIS) just took over Quaragosh, the biggest Christian city in Iraq. There are hundreds of men, women and children that are being beheaded. The people are asking for prayers to be made on their behalf concerning the ongoing atrocity in their country. Please take one minute to pray for them. Pass the message across to all your contacts so that the prayer chain will not be broken. They asked for this special prayer. Please, ensure you pass across the prayer request to the body of Christ for fervent prayers offered on behalf of the brothers, sisters and children in Iraq. This is an urgent SOS. May God bless you. From Andrew White the Vicar of Baghdad. "
John our prayers are with them!
Jan, praise the Lord for your good news!
Also praying for those who are suffering the atrocities at the hands of ISIS. I am sorry if I offend anyone but I have to ask this question. Why are Muslims so mean, so cruel, so vicious, so hateful with no tolerance or compassion for anyone else?
Sorry to hear about this Jan. You and Donnie remain in my thoughts and prayers.
Dziękuję Bogu za dotyk gojenia po Donnie i Jan w bezpieczny powrót do domu. Dajemy Ci chwałę i świadczą o tym, co widzieliśmy.
I am impressed John that you would use this forum and share this with all of us. Thank you -

Hello everyone! I don't think I have ever asked for prayers in this discussion before but these earthquakes in Nepal hit me in the feels. I have known a few people who have climbed Everest, in fact 3 years ago at this time I was in a state of high anxiety as my sister and her husband were climbing up to base camp on Everest. They did not intend to try to summit, but you are still out of communication with them for several weeks. My heart goes out to everyone in the entire Himalayan region affected by these devastating earthquakes. My sister brought me back some prayer flags from Nepal and I have them up in my living room. Please pray for all of these people. They will needing all the help we can send to them, spiritual and financial. Thank you all.
