a) What is your favorite pattern to collect?

CASE Seahorse Whittler #55 pattern

b) What is your least favorite pattern to collect?

While I've got a couple, Trappers are at the bottom of my list.

Got this one for the great color and unusual spay blade design.

c) What pattern makes up the bulk of your collection?

WHITTLERS!!!

Not just the Seahorse, but all different variations.

I am partial to Wharncliffe whittlers though.

d) What pattern do you tend to use/carry  most often?

This Rough Rider #660 has been my constant companion for several years.

a) What is your favorite pattern to collect?

Probably Marlinspikes (even though I'm not a sailor)  Lots of variety!

b) What is your least favorite pattern to collect?

The Standard Trapper (too often it is the only game in town so its a Trapper or the highway.  I often choose th e highway. sigh!)

c) What pattern makes up the bulk of your collection?

Camp/Scout Knives, again lost of variety!

d) What pattern do you tend to use/carry  most often?

Large Toothpicks -  Special Occasions Carry

(My EDCs are Swiss Army Knives)

a)  It is hard to say which is my favorite pattern.  I have two I focus on, fish knives and Case Mini Blackhorns.  I like them both.  Right now I have 20 of each but I have a fish knife on the way.

My Fish Knife Collection

My Case Mini Blackhorn Collection

b)  I don't really have a particular least favorite pattern.  If I had to pick one I guess I would say fixed blades.  I have seven fixed blades but the bulk of my collection is folders.  Although one of my favorite knives is a fixed blade.

The Lefty Knife (1)

c)  Although fish knives and Mini Blackhorns are the patterns that I have the most of, neither one is the majority of my collection.  I also focus on two brands Case and Rough Rider.  I have several of both in various patterns.

d)  My EDC is a Case Mini Blackhorn and a Leatherman Micra.  For special occasion carry I have an amber jigged bone Case Mini Copperlock.

Case 61749L SS Amber Jigged Bone Mini Copperlock (12)

a, Small bowie style hunting knife

b, Fantasy knives

c, Clipped blade bowie style fixed blades

d, simple folding knife, Wenger standard lately.

a)  No particular pattern. I collect for aesthetics , but stick with single or two blade configurations, pen and large blade.

b)  I stay away from multi-blade patterns, like whittlers and patterns with 2 large blades like trappers and moose.

c)  Have no single pattern I collect, ones and twos of a lot of styles.

d)  At the moment, I EDC a GEC #12 Ebony Powder horn, backed up by a SAK alox Cadet.

Hope my ambiguous answers help.

Favorite pattern ...2 blade jack

least favorite...whatever doesn't have bone handles

Bulk...stockman...so many variations

EDC....Schrade 863 swell center/ whittler...love that coping blade for opening cardboard boxes that come in the mail.
