Hi Brian, during my trip I saw knife shops are quite easily found in Germany everywhere,in main city like Munich there will have several shops on the same street. Not sure German will know Boker, but they must know Zwilling J A Henckels since this brand is displayed in every shops. Normally I did not see any sale in the shops, maybe not in sale season or the tax refund is already the discount.
I did not see any Boker boutique during my trip, maybe it will have in Solingen. Actually I bought my one in a little shop in a place called Rothenburg, a little far away from main cities.

When you where in Germany what knives did you see for sale?  Mostly there countries brand?  I worked with some engineers from Germany that lived not far from the boker plant.  Neither one of them had heard of Boker??  I was stunned, they both carried knives from Finland, they said most Germans preferred Finnish  or Swedish knives, I was heart broken for sure, here I was buying everyone I could find around here and they had never even heard of them.  Guess it might be a grass is greener deal I don't know!!

Nice looking pair! I had the old, old version of Boker's lockback but I think that I gave this one to my eldest son who is a big fan of the older Bokers. I miss it now...!

The knife may be old but looks healthy. I love this very traditional style.

I would miss that one also!!

It had a little bit of blade wobble so it didn't see much if any use but I did like it a lot.

As I am sure your son does Tom!

Really like that!  Billy. Nice purchase.
