Fish Leather .
Well this is a new one for me , though I guess a few of our more knowledgeable members will be aware of "fish leather".
I was checking out one of my favourite knife sites and discovered this knife who's sheath is reputed to be made of fish leather !

Having looked on Korpikannel1957 website it appears that the sheath is of cows leather with a fish leather facing
I had never heard of fish leather before so have had a look on line and it seems there is a lot that I have yet to learn .

That's a new one on me, John. Eel skin and ray skin are what I would have assumed it would be.

This is kind of amazing. I was thinking tarpon because I know that skin is tough as leather, I would not have figured salmon!
