Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

It is nearing that time of year again.  Figured I would give everyone a heads up that I will again be doing a Christmas giveaway (similar in format to previous years).

So ... mark your calendars and check back on 15 November for the details.  The only stipulation for entry is that the giveaway will be open to those who have been members for at least 6 months prior to the start of the giveaway (joined on or before 15 May 2019).

See instructions for entering in my post below.

All GAW winners have now responded and have selected their knives!  Congrats to Ashley, J.J. and Andy .... and hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas .... just 25 days away!!

I have my granddaughter to thank for this... have to get up early, these days, to keep her, so I have to do all my replys, emails, forums before 7:00AM.

Thanks Dennis, for the opportunity, once again.

You are quite welcome J.J.  I have all the selections and will be putting them in the mail on Thursday for a (hopefully) Saturday or Monday delivery.  And ... early mornings are great!  I am up every day between 4:30 and 5 AM.  I am just a creature of habit!

Dennis........For ME, that would be a "Very Bad Habit", amigo.

Thank you, Dennis, for your extreme generosity!

I feel blessed to have been selected, and it will be great as I usually don't get a knife for Christmas!

very best regards -

Congratulations, All!

Hi Dennis - I wanted to let you know that my beautiful Case Whittler arrived safe and sound in south-central Tennessee! I was delighted to open the knife - I used my ZT0230 slip-joint to open the very well-packaged knife. I am always very excited to open a knife, but this one from your contest was doubly exciting. I will use the knife and post pictures here periodically. What a beauty of a knife - thank you so much and Merry Christmas to you and the rest of the folks here at IKC.  As an aside, my wife and I moved to Tennessee early this year and are now living in a hotel as our house is being remodeled - that is why the knife was delivered yesterday but I didn't get to the house until this afternoon.

Very Best Regards -

mqqn (Andy)

Been trying to post for over an hour and each time I get close to finishing up, I hit the wrong button and delete the whole thing.

The package, from Dennis, arrived yesterday, but I was laid up until today.  The Shelby Mihalevich friction folder is beautiful. The Damascus blade is housed in a small deer tine handle.  My phone surely doesn't do it justice.

Thanks, Dennis and Merry Christmas.

Great choice, JJ! - and I will say , one of the great choices from our most benevolent benefactor!

I am, tonight, enjoying the action of my gifted Serpentine...you knife people will understand and I hope Dennis enjoys the sentiment. :)

Andy and J.J. - Glad you are enjoying them.  Merry Christmas!

LOL, If I sleep in until 6am I have accomplished something

I am up at 5am every day - for whatever reason. Might be due to my early bedtime. Ben Franklin would be proud of us. :)

best
