Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Okay, the only Case pattern I had become infatuated with was the seahorse ... until, however, I bought my daughter (who is a pharmacy tech at a hospital in Youngstown, OH) this doctor's knife.  Thought she would love the color and, being one of the oldest patterns still made, it had a great history.  Besides, for a pharmacy tech ... you gotta love the pill counter spatula blade!  This is where it all started.  Now I am searching daily for variations that I like!  Hers has the red pearl Kirinite covers.

Currently have 28 doctor's knives.  This is starting to get as bad as my obsession with seahorses!  Here is a group pic of my customized ones.

Scratch the previous.  Now have 29 doctor's knives!  Here’s the newest customized 2018 Case doctor’s knife I picked up from Wild Horse Customs. Covers are a combination of mammoth bark and interior mastodon ivory. Makes for an outstanding combination. Bolster embellishment pattern is slightly different than on my other Wild Horse doctor's knives. Variety is the spice of life, or so they say!

Had the opportunity to pick up a new Case baby doctor’s knife recently from Wild Horse Customs. It is a 2007 model with raindrop Damascus blade and spatula that Josh customized with a combination of mammoth bark and interior mastodon ivory. What makes this a great addition to my doctor’s knife collection is that it's a very nice match to a full-sized doctor’s knife that Josh also customized. Great pair!

Wow, that is a beautiful knife. Fantastic mammoth. Rain Drop Damascus is my favorite too.

Thanks Tim.  I go kind of crazy when I can find a closely matching pair!!

Awesome group of knives...Nice to see you added your daughter into the Knife collecting as well.

I have one doctors knife that was gifted to me from a cousin it too is a Case and Tang stamp is W.R.Case and SON...dates it back to 1902 ....Stay Sharp !

Snagged this 2018 purple haze jigged bone for the collection for a very reasonable price.  Well, actually, bought it with my daughter in mind, since she likes the color purple!  We'll see if it ends up heading her way soon ... or when I am taking my dirt nap!!!

Some fantastic coloring on that Doc Dennis!

Thanks Andy.  As you know, these things are getting more and more expensive.  Was lucky to get it for a reasonable (but still too high, IMO) price!

It's unfortunate for sure.

Purple Haze. Is that the actual color name. Jimmy Hendrix - 1967 had a song I believe. Not a Hendrix fan though. Cool color.

Yup ... it sure is Tim.  Purple haze with peach seed jigging.  Been after one of these for quite some time.  There is a baby doc in the same color that I will continue to hunt down!
