The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Can't believe we are entering a another decade. I hope everyone has a great new year. As I open up a new iKC calendar, thought it would be a great idea to choose a knife a month to showcase. Here's my knife of the month for January (I wonder what yours might be?!). This is the last knife I purchased in 2019. It's a utility / hunter by TK Steingass - spalted hackberry handle with a 4.5" 1095 blade with hamon.

Well, there may not be any cutting, but there is only one way in to the kidney for this kind of work....we can talk about the scope and laser later.
Meanwhile, back to your knife...this piece is absolutely gorgeous in its simplicity! Nice pick for Novemeber my friend. It's stylish yet practical; bold in design, still, subtle in application.
Back to you - you are a master at creating word pictures. In one introduction you combined the images of a chest of full of knives, this beautiful piece, and the strategic attack of a stone so large it cannot be passed (not that it should be anyway!). I'm not sure I can wrap my head around all these images at once.
Thanks for sharing Dennis - as always, this month's selection is a triumph!
Great selection for November Dennis. Hope your procedure goes well.
Not a big fan of frame locks ... but I can't help but grin from ear to ear when I am carrying this one (by Alan Davis) with its full timascus frame. Everything about it, from its mesmerizing colors to the pattern of the Damascus blade, grabs my attention. Hope everyone has had a great year. If not .... look at it this way, only 31 days left until a new one begins!
Wonderful pick for December, Dennis
I like it!
As always, you never fail to impress with your knives or photography. Well done!
Sweet looking piece Dennis.
