Is it just me, or are Bokers notorious for looseing their shields? Seems like by comparison, they tend to loose the shields a bit more than most other companys. Anyway, I have a handful of Bokers in my collection and look forward to adding more over time. I like the traditional patterns and the fit and finish seems to rate right up there with some of the best. I recently picked up a small German made stockman (2-3/4" closed) and it's missing the shield. It was round and only about 1/4" dia.  Does anyone know of a good source for Boker replacement shields? Other then that, the knife is pretty decent shape and I'd like to get a shield back on it to make it that much better. I appreciate any help or discussion as I am fairly new to the Boker knives and would like to learn more about them. Rob

Click on this link for Boker repair department contacts. Lost shields are replaced for free under the Boker warranty.

Talk to Terry Trahan in the customer service department. He will fix you up!

Hi, thanks a bunch! I did send 'em a message and hope to hear back from 'em soon. I also bookmarked the sight and signed up for their newsletters. The more I get into the Bokers, the more I like 'em. Thanks again.

Hi,

If the Boker warranty link doesn't solve your problem, try ebay. You could buy a like knife in POOR condition at a LOW price and obtain a shield. Good luck.

Hi, got word back from Terry Trehan at Boker. The shield I'm needing is for a discontinued model and shields are no longer available. Bummer! I've been watching Ebay for awhile now, but no luck yet, will keep trying. Thanks.
