This one qualifies as my latest, though it is far from new.  Boker USA 8288.  I don't know much about it, but it is a great little knife - single backspring pen, very lightly built, nice delrin handles, intact shield.  But what's going on with that swedge?  Do you think it came from the factory like that?  My guess is this is a bungled "home swedging job."

Hey Paul,

I think you're right about the swedge. Here's a pic from a 1980 catalog. It appears to show just a touch of a swedge, if any at all. I like it though. The tree brand shield on yours was used only for one or two years at most. Just before BOKER USA stopped production in the U.S.

this is one of my latest boker plus it is very tight great knife

H. Boker & Co.'s Improved Cutlery cap lifter or ladies leg.
H. Boker & Co.'s Improved Cutlery. The shield is an old Cadillac emblem circa. 1908.

Roger, WOW!

I really like that leg knife. Looks like the script style tang stamp. 1920s-1930s?

Thanks Ricky,

The master blade is stamped H. Boker & Co.'s Improved Cutlery while the small blade is in script. You are exact on the dates: 1920 - 1930.
