This one is a little more difficult:

Boker USA was owned by - or merged with - four different companies, beginning around 1965 and ending when U.S. production of Boker knives ceased around 1983.

Name the four companies, in order.

1.  H. Boker & Co

2. J. Wiss & Sons

3. Cooper Group

4. Heinr. Boker Germany

You're both correct - I should have clarified that these were U.S. companies not necessarily known in the pocketknife industry. You have #3: J. Wiss & Sons 1969-1977 and #4: Cooper Tool Group 1978-1983.

Still need #1 _______ 1965-1968

and #2 ________ 1969

Here's a hint: KNIFEWORLD :-)

New Britain owned Boker around 1965-1968. New Britain was the tool supplier for NAPA.

1. New Britain Machine Company. 1965-1968

2. New Bitain Machine Company merged into Litton Industries in 1968.  Then in 1969 or 1970, J. Wiss bought Boker.

Cooper is what's doing to mind but don't know ful name or years

Bingo Roger .. that must be it .. the Litton Industries detail.

Too cool .. where'd ya find the info ????

I looked & looked & was still pulling a blank on the "Litton" detail.

Hi Dale,

I got the Litton Industries info. from Mark Zalesky's article about Boker in Knife World that he did in Nov. 2009. I wouldn't have found it had it not been for Ricky's above hint. I'm just not as familiar with the newer Boker stuff (post 1960)......I like the old ones.

Litton Industries: 1969

J.Wiss and Sons: 1969-1977

Cooper Tool Group: 1977-1983

Awesome! Here are some knives from the New Britain Years:

Great knives, Rickey! Love the quiz and old Boker stuff too! I have a potential quiz topic for you to consider- "identify the Biggest (sidewise) old Knife made by or sporting the Boker stamp :)
Sounds like a good one. I'd have to depend on you for the right answer! Custom made or regular production?
Production made only. I think we limit answers to ones with a real pictures attached.
