H & R Sportsman, a decent shooting little 22.

A Ruger single six in 22.

Great looking guns and beautiful photos to boot. I'll try to get photos of a few of mine soon.

Thanks Donald, I enjoy spending a little extra time trying to get a good shot.

Please do share, I would love to see some other collector's guns.

I have a cheap little 22. I'll try to get pics of tomorrow. It's my varmint dispatch gun and it does a fine job with the critters we catch. It's no prize winner, but it's a great little piece that I have had for a while.

My old s number model 29 smiff

Very nice, it reminds me a bit of my Dad's Colt Trooper. I will get pics of that one today as well.

I love these old revolvers, something so classic and so perfect about them. I love a good rattle trap, but they have become a little bit, bland. For me anyhow.

Thanks for Sharing Ken, I love it!!!

Here is the Colt Trooper.

I don't recall

seeing a Trooper  like your dads before. What a treasure. These used to be traded cheap because all the money seemed to be bidding on Pythons. No more. These are sky high and most  nice ones are held by guys who would never sell at any price.

I  gave my .22 mag Trooper to a friend who has done so much for me and would never accept anything.  I caught him beedy eyeing this one and I knew I had him  cold.   We all have carry permits and the first time he came over without a weapon I  told him to put on the trooper, with its little holster and speedloader pack and I needed him to go somewhere with me.   We got back and I said thats yours now.,  He said whay? why? I said i don't like it anymore its kind of a sissy little gun anyway. I hate to see someone get emotional, unless I caused it so I can laugh out loud at them and get the most  enjoyment possible out of their discomfort. It seems to relieve them from  the even more embarassing

muttering a thanks as it seems like they might shoot you for a second or two. The best thing you can ever do with

a knife or as gun is to give it to someone who has been a good friend. I have been lucky to have some nice toys  but blessed by

the Lord to have such good friends.

Ken,

What a great and wonderful story.  I am sure he was pleased and still is every time he straps that Trooper on.  I certainly agree about friend being a true blessing

Here is a sweet little revolver.  It is a S&W Model 637 Airlite eight shot .22 LR with a three inch barrel.  It weighs 9.9 ounces empty.

Thats a beauty Charles.
S&W knows how to make a nice revolver.
