Hey Jeremi, great score, I love to go hiking. What kind of knife is that in the picture?
The knife is one I made from L-6 tool steel as is the Franken-Axe.It is kinda a bowie/kukri design.
Its the Franken Axe!!!!
Talking about Axes, I wonder which is favored by the young men that are able to weild them, a traditional axe or the new tactical style axe?
The pictures tell my answer.A solid new age hawk is sturdier and there is nothing to break. The uses are multiple as well in tactical/survival situations.Just my opinion.

Yea man,Jeremi, it looks bad to the bone. It looks like a bad xxx weapon and indistructable at that. How does it fair in say camping situations?
Both axes/hawks in above pics function well for outdoor uses.I have tested them and the back spikes work good for digging fire pits and dragging heavy wood. The edge on the BrantonAxe is better suited to chopping and its also a bit bigger edge.I have torn apart pallets with them as well for a couple bonfires we had in desert.
It does look like a good camping tool.
I was just looking at Terry's boy with the fish in the Fishing Contest and noticed his camo shirt and pants. Alot of people don't stop and think that a parent must outfit his childern too when taking them hunting or fishing. They will need all sorts of things, shirt, pants, hat, shoes, coat and the list goes on just to dress our little outdoor companion. Then comes their fishing pole, tackle and all the other little things they are gonna need to fish. I know all this because I outfitted two little girls in all their outdoor adventures. It cost me a little bit but it was worth every penny I spent because it helped me spend more time with my girls. I hope ya'll won't let this opportunity pass ya'll by. Take that little kid fishing, I promise you will never regret it.
I just purchased a pair of fleece lined blue jeans, to ware on those really cold days. They are really great, all I need now is some cold wheather to go with them...lol
ROFL, well we are hoping for the best on that
