I scanned this in from the book, best in the long haul.  Are you looking to see if the did use it or for some more specific information?

Thanks you for the reply.  I've got a copy of Parker's book and skimmed across this section.  I didn't see much mention of the red shield specifically.  Just wondering.  I've got 1 of 3 stag Winchester listed.  It has a red cartridge shield and I'm having a hard time finding information about it.

 

Well the Case Historian Katie joined us this week, shoot her an email and see if she knows where we can get some info
