So, what was your very first Case knife?

Mine was a Case Sodbuster Jr. that I bought in 1976 - 77. I loved that knife! I wish I still had it.

Nice mini Trapper!

The first Case that I got was this stockman back in 1978.

Mine was a Sodbuster also.

(Still got mine...)

An old one dot! Still in good shape. I wish I kept my Sodbuster Jr.

The first knife I remember owning was shaped like a fish. It was red and the scales where trimmed in gold. Don't know what happened to it but I've looked and looked and have never seen another one. When I run across another one Ill buy it and take better care of it though.

Was it made by Case?

woops I have no idea who made it.

This was my first Case.  It is a 6254 SS trapper made in 2004.  It was one of their Freedom Series.  My son and daughter gave it to me as a CHRISTmas present.

The Bible is my family's old family Bible.  It is a Centenial Bible published in 1876.  It is about four inches thick.  It has a lot of the family births, marriages, and deaths back into the 1800's recorded in it.

That is sweet.

That American Flag shield is great!

My very first Case was passed down from my father in his will. A Case Barlow. Old, used, carried every day as long as I can remember. He bought it sometime in the late 50's. He was an electrician so I saw him skin wire, cut open boxes, dig out splinters, give himself a manicure, and cut just about anything that came down the pike. The blades have been sharpened so much they no longer have their original lines. I keep it cleaned and oiled. It will never be a piece others drool over. It will not be listed on eBay. It will however be placed with great pride in my collection because of its history. Dad took great pride in his tools and only bought the very best. He passed away in 1991. Everytime I see it I pick it up if only to feel closer to him and his memory. He and his Case had a great run.
