It WOULD be nice to get something for the dues I pay. Ron Dumeah said I was getting the special rate for sending my dues to him. Is $29.95 a good rate?

This site is well managed and has a ton of great info for the newbie collector and the advanced. Although the subject could be posted on "box full of knives" or under the Sheffield, Solingen and American Vintage groups. How about a group of vintage straight razor collectors, who share the same old cutlery history as pocketknife and bowie knife collectors. Check the completed auctions on ebay for vintage straight razors, and the amount of total sales, plus the volume of bidders will surprise you. Vintage razors which , once a slow seller, are now a hot item, due to low and mid-level collectors , priced out of vintage pocketknife sales , are buying Catt. WR Case , Case Bros. EC Simmons,Keen Kutter razors in record numbers, many times in the $20 to $50 range. In the same vain, a forum or group with interest in the history, makers and patterns of Japanese Samurai swords, tantos and ancient weapons would be nice, I know a couple of local collectors, whose expertise would be invaluble, but there are many of them in the nation. Modern makers of both razors and swords could be included. The sword collectors may be invited to the tactical group, not sure if vintage blades are included? . These collector groups include new and advanced collectors, who are the future of our hobby!
OK good point that just might be Jan's department!

How about a link up top for the knives for sale. Just to make it a little easier to find.
