Everyday I get up and watch the news and I think my head is going to explode! Good thing I have my knives to keep me sane!
Ridiculous isn't it?

Are they taking this serious? In Oklahoma they are close to issuing everyone an assault rifle. LOL! Come on and move your operation to Oklahoma. Soon we will be Baja Texas...the northern State of the Republic of Texas.
Things are getting crazy, I feel like watching less news if that's possible.

This is the "logic" that we're up against.

Liberals Letter to the Editor Goes Viral For Its Stupidity...
Beaufort, N.C.
Jan. 17, 2013
TO THE EDITOR:
Republicans and “so-called” conservatives are at it again. They are claiming that the Constitution gives people the right to have guns without the permission of the government. If that were true, then how could New York and Chicago have laws against it?
We Democrats are sick and tired of Republicans constantly using the Constitution to cover up their true plans, which are to make us all afraid of everyone else. Our great president came from a civilized part of the country where there is strict gun control, and he is only trying to bring the benefits of that more modern way of living to the rest of us. I don’t know the exact statistics, but I’m quite certain that Chicago is a lot safer that Morehead City, when it comes to gun violence.
But do Republicans and conservatives listen to the voice of reason? No, of course not. All they want to do is whine and complain about how gun control and wealth redistribution violate the Constitution, as if the Constitution were all that great, anyway. There are a lot of things that need to be changed about the Constitution, I’d say, and President Obama needs to change it.
The Republicans are just trying to stand in the way, because the president is black. They even dared to question whether he was born in this country. I think all this demonstrates that the Constitution needs to be amended when it comes to the qualifications for being president. Right now , it says that a person has to be 35 years old and be a natural born citizen. Well, that is obviously unfair because there are a great many otherwise qualified people who cannot run for president because their mothers had to have a C-section. But because the Constitution was written a hundred years ago, nobody even thought of the discrimination that would result from a doctor having to deliver a baby in this unnatural way. Now that we Democrats are in control of the government, that’s just one more thing we should change in our drive to make life fair.
Please withhold my name because I don’t want to get crank calls.
I can see why, who ever wrote this doesn't want their name on it. I have always lived by the reasoning, "if a person doesn't have the guts to put their name to what they say or write, then their opinion is worthless"!
Message I recieved from my state Attorney General, today...
Dear Mr. Smith,
The Founding Fathers made it very clear: the ability to bear arms is a
fundamental right of citizenship in these United States. The America they
created is a place where "We the People" are guaranteed the right to defend
ourselves, our families and our property. We must not allow emotions to alter
or abridge our fundamental constitutional rights.
As your Attorney General, I have a sworn duty to uphold the Constitutions of
South Carolina and the United States - including the Second Amendment. I am
fully committed to doing just that.
Like many South Carolinians, I am a gun owner. I am also the proud father of two
toddlers. Many of us learned how to shoot and handle guns responsibly from our
fathers. It is a tradition passed from one generation to another, and it's
something I plan to pass along to my children. Taking away our constitutional
rights will not make our children safer. It will make them less safe.
Like every parent, I want my children to be protected when they are in the
classroom. We have a sacred obligation to look after children. That's why I
strongly support training and arming resource officers in schools. It is also
why I am opposed to a one-size-fits-all approach to gun control measures.
Some in Washington, DC are solely directing their focus on restricting the
Second Amendment, without addressing factors which impact violence in America.
For instance, pop culture continually promotes violence through bloody movies,
graphic video games and song lyrics which encourage violence. Another key
component of this problem is the ability of mentally ill people to gain access
to firearms. We need to better identify these individuals and treat them,
instead of chipping away at the Second Amendment. Limiting a constitutional
right is not a form of mental health treatment.
This issue is best addressed by the states, not by an over-reaching federal
government in Washington. Like most every other public policy issue, it is best
to keep as much power as we can at the state and local level. I am a firm
believer in both the Second and Tenth Amendments and I remain opposed to
constant attempts by the federal government to erode them.
Sincerely,
Alan Wilson
Well I don't know Mr Wilson but it would appear he gets it, just wonder how long he will remain in office?
I would vote for him!
J.J.
Good response from your Attorney General. However, very few of the politicians will address the REAL reason our founding Fathers wrote the Second Amendment. It reads; "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Our Founding Fathers wrote this amendment to ensure of our freedom from tyranny from our own Government. Our right to be able to protect our selves and our families comes from our Lord God. God gave man free will and with freewill comes the right to defend said freewill. Just one man's opinion. Clint........

Guy this is great information. I appreciate you helping out the club members. I personally have written my two Senators and one Congressman. I have received letters from one of the Senators and the Representative. I told my group if they voted for ANY gun control they will be riding the wild lightening right out of office.
