That is some nice work.Where are you located?I do a few patterns that I stretch out or do a little more angle to get a different look.Sometimes I surprise myself and one will turn out real nice.Wish Iwas good with a camera to get a record of them as once they leave me they are gone forever.Do you sign your work? Not prying just thought it would be a good idea.I sign my name inside and usually on one blade tang. I have a friend in Georgia who stamps his intials on the liner inside. His name is Ben Hulsey, a great guy and inspirational to me at my start. The other maker who inspired me is Stan Shaw of Sheffield,England. His work though not elaborate is first class and a bit like a signature.I have one of his knives in my collection. He does a coach knife, with all the tools for a stagecoach 16-1800 era sells for 4000 bucks, engraved silver bolsters and AAA pearl with filework

Thank You
Thomas, I do sign my work. I used to engrave my initials and the year inside the liner but now stamp them if I completely disassemble the knife. I'm in Ohio. I've got a load of filework pics on my site,www.muskratmancustomknives.com

Kaleb,
Checkedout your site.Beautiful knives and real nice web page. Congradulations!

Kaj Embretsen

Here is some filewerk from a fantastic knifemaker, Kaj Embretsen. If I recall correctly, he is from Sweden. He works with premium handle material. He makes his own spectacular damascus. And of course he does a bit of filewerk.

Old filing crazy nut.................

The guns are stainless steel --
And you could call it fluted?
But I did it all by hand with a file.

I took the rifle to a few shows and people are blown away when they see it in person.

I appreciate the compliments - take care,
