Welcome Lyle

Largemouth bass is my favorite fish to catch.  Although I like to feel any of them on the end of the line.

Lyle, the one I have is not in good shape but if your looking for one for some parts I'd be glad to send it to you. I don't collect them. It was in a box with some other things I was after. I will send you pictures if you're interested. If not, it will go to my grandson. He may decide at some point in his future what he'd want to do with it. But right now it doesn't fit his collection either.

It's on its way!! Sent it this morning so you should have it in a few days, depending on how fast the USPS donkey travels!

I might add that the reason I believe these are called rooster combs,is the top knot that appeared on the unusual budding blades offered by different makers.Camillus and Schrade I have seen pictures of,and a Wostenholm amatuer  gardener knife has a similar top knot, although the blade design is different. Not mine but an example. I do not (yet) own a farmers jack with this budding ,rooster  comb blade.

Received Chuck's gift today.I may have to patch that handle and sharpen her up.I would hate to see such a great knife go to the glue factory.

Thanks Chuck

I'm glad you got it so quick. I was figuring you could maybe use it for parts. Hope it serves your needs. Glad to be able to share and keep an old knife going, at least parts of it.
