How can I become a legal knife collector in melbourne, Australia?
Hello everyone
I am living in melbourne, I collect knifes for long time, but somebody told me its illegal own a lot of knife here. I want become a legal knife collector here, anybody know where can i find a application form?

Max, the first thing you need to do is research you laws. Most of the time what people tell you is highly inaccurate. Find out what the limitations are on knives. Blade length, type, style, material of handles, intended or designed purpose, and so on. Is there a maximum number of knives you can legally own? Can you legally import knives? Do you have to register knives or yourself as a collector? Research is going to save you valuable time and money. That will give you a better idea of where you stand. I have heard Aussies say they can own most anything but can't import. I don't know so I can't advise you other than to do your research. Hope this helps in some way.
