Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This is a special knife made for the Swiss Cheese Marketing in Switzerland to promote Swiss Cheese. It is made on the standard 111mm Victorinox Swiss Army knife frame with a partially serrated and locking main blade, the special cheese blade which is very sharp, a corkscrew(because you will want some wine with your cheese), a toothpick and a keyring. This knife also has special etching on each side of the main blade and is packaged in special packaging. These were released in September of 2010 and were only available to the European market at the time. You had to send in so many UPC labels from genuine Swiss Cheese and pay a certain amount to get this knife. I do believe those restrictions are gone now and the knives come in plain silver Victorinox boxes now.

The Picnic set is just a red pouch with a fork and spoon and a slot for a knife.

Interesting knife!  Thanks for sharing it!

Wayne,

I have often said you have more SAK's than anyone I have ever seen.  You always have an interesting array that I have seen nowhere else.  If someone wanted to find one of these, where would they begin looking.  As always thank you for sharing your unique and wonderful knives

Well I found mine for sale from another collector on a different forum sales board. I am not really sure that Victorinox here in the US would have any for sale. Evidently there were 30,000 made in the 1st run. I heard they made a second run but no idea how many. However if you had contacts in Switzerland or Germany you might get lucky that way. Otherwise watch eBay.

Found these for sale at $40 includes ship but the blade does not have the special etching. Still a nice knife for a cheese and wine connoisseur.
