Favorite Kind of Knives
My favorites are vintage folders and hunting knives, but I must admit I like 'em all!!
About Me
I used to trade knives with some other kids when I was in grade school. Just recently got back into collecting a few. I grew up in the mountains of Virginia hunting and fishing not so much as a sport but as a means of having food to eat. I will always cherish those times of simpler means.
Interests
I like collecting most any interesting pocket knives, signs etc. Also like any black powder items and other hunting items.
Other Hobbies
Hunting, fishing, gardening, camping with my wife and family and spoiling my dogs..

Howdy Bob, appreciate your compliments.

Jack is my fishing, truck riding, harmonica singing, little buddy.  He's a rat terrier, and a stray. First saw him in a ditch, at the end of my driveway. Stopped my car, opened the door, and asked him where he was going. He came a little closer, I clapped my hands and said "come see me". He ran across the road, hopped in the door, and has been my timid little buddy every since. Fed him, left him outside to come and go, he was never claimed, and he decided he liked his new home.  A litte timid and gun shy, but a fine little companion.

Talk later Bob

Happy to be your friend Bob.  I see one of the groups you have joined is the Knife Repair & Modification group.  I'm in that too.  I'm getting interested in re-handleing nice old folders with good blades.  Ive bought a few project knives with great blades and crappy handles for this purpose.  I'm trying to get some input from others in the group, as far as tools and techniques.  Let me know if you, or a friend can help.  I'm anxious to learn from someone with experience.  Thanks for the friend request, and I hope to hear from you.
