Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I'd just like to share this Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. straight razor with everyone.

This was my grandfather's razor. He got it while he was the manager of the Gaut & Becker Hardware Store in Jeannette Pennsylvania in the 1930's. These were made up for the store, as you can see the Gaut & Becker - Jeannette Pennsylvania etch.

This is one of my cherished possessions...........

Thanks Billy and Jim!  When I look at it, it feels like I'm holding history in my hands.

A beautiful Razor & memory jogger. I grew up watching my dad shave with one of these. I also have his razor as well as others I have collected however I have never had the courage to try to shave with one.

Thanks Hog and Jan!  I don't think I'll try shaving with it....I'll end up cutting my throat!

That is simply fantastic Craig.  It is one of those possessions that always reminds you what a gift family can be :)
