What is the oldest knife in your collection?? Not a contest and pics and input welcome

I thought it would be great to see some rare old beauties-- YOUR OLDEST KNIFE !! - This  is not a contest by any means to see who has the oldest, rarest, or most valuable. Only rules here are to show a photo with a description  and/or age if you know it-- If you don't know a darn thing about it other than if you believe it's old, tell us what you do or do not know about it. We have many folks here that might help you learn more. I don't care it it is 20,30, or a 120,130 years old. Just to get things started, I'll show mine-- An old Argyle Tuxedo pen knife- Germany- Circa 1910- 1930-- It was sold through Brown Brothers which was later called FW Woolworth- This one was my mother's ---

Charles, your razor dates to 1900-1920--Probably, the early end of the timeline-- That was when Oxford Razor Co. was in business.Imperial Razor was a trademark of A. Kastor & Bros..The razor was actually made by Germania Cutlery Works of Solingen, Germany, which was owned by Adolph Kastor's brother, Nathan. Although I have seen other Admiral Perry etched razors, I have never seen one with both the etch and the fancy handle like yours-All the others had plain handles.Even with the condition issues, I can see the razor in the $100+ range-The box alone doubles the value !!

I have this old razor.  It commemorates Admiral Dewey's victory over the Spanish fleet in the Spanish American war.  Since the war was in 1898, I assume the razor is over a hundred years old.  My sister bought it at an auction and gave it to me.

glad to see you cranking out the research again john!

hey john, what can you tell me bout this F C CO from Germany?

F.M. CO. - 3-1/4" Small Sleeveboard, red jigged bone, Both blades are tang stamped F.M. CO. Germany, nickle silver bolsters/pins/brass liners.

Thanks for the info John!  I guess the $30 my sister paid for it wasn't too much after all!  LOL

Tim, I rarely admit total defeat on knife research-- BUT-- I can find absolutely zero in my reference books or online about F.M. Co.- Germany--Any additional marks or historical data ??-- With the present data, I sadly admit I am stumped??
