Bytheway....I'm looking for some Hen and Rooster Russell knives...preferably the coffin handled ones. If anyone ever wants to trade me one of those (I don't have a lot of spare $$$ to spend) I'd be happy to send one of the knives I made their way or depending on the knife make them something to order.

I'd almost (almost) sell my soul for the one that's on auction right now on E-bay (not a coffin one but it's gorgeous.)

I had that one. It's great except for that the secondairy blade kind of gets in the way of a comfortable grip.

Hey,  for the paltry sum of only $15.00 more, I could get the best of both worlds...

I kind of wish it was the wharncliffe. But I love me a good clippoint as well. And yeah...it's an AMAZING bargain.

That is a great deal on that clip point.

As a sidenote....the clippoint version of that was SO lowpriced because of customer Appreciation that I couldn't resist it and a cocobolo Clippoint is coming my way.

That's a very nice knife JJ. Be wharned though (lol) it's BIG! I owned the two bladed version for a while. It's a massive Wharncliffe blade.

It's a very handy little blade. It's just long enough to do almost everything. Thick enough to feel solid enough while doing it. (1/8" thick steel or close to it)

The bone scales will acquire some nice character over the years. The titanium liners and backspacer make it lightweight and the deep carry pocketclip make for very unobtrusive carry. Honestly, there isn't a thing I don't like about it.....ok, maybe the thumbstud is a little sharp. But a little sandpaper will fix that in seconds.

The VG-10 steel is also a treat. Very good edge retention, fairly easy sharpening and will take a KILLER edge.

That's a nice one, Alex. I see it has VG-10 steel, what do you think of it?
