Thanks for the comments on my question about the Case John Wayne knife.

I asked the question because eBay did not show that specific model anywhere. Actually, I had forgotten that I had that knife and was excited when I found it.

My Case knives are almost exclusively US WWII military examples. I had almost forgotten how beautifully made civilian Case knives can be.

John Wayne pieces are average $70-100 based on sold items I have looked up.

To get an idea as to what the value is, try Ebay.  I guess one measure of value is what others are willing to pay for an item like this.  To me, that does not tell the full story.  What is that item's value to you is much more important.  Not everyone appreciates this knife the same way you do.  If you decide to sell it, set a price that you feel is fair and reflects how much you feel the knife is worth to you and don't accept less than that.

I have a Case John Wayne Commemorative knife that is beautiful. I would appreciate an estimate of value from Case fans (almost all of my Case collection id WWII military).
