I can only think that they would start with a portion of the line.  But here is a thought.  what about a new line.....

I wonder if they are thinking of upscaling a portion of the line.  1095 would be nice.  I would take another look at some of those whittlers they have

After over a year of waiting, I've decdide I've waited long enough. I'm planning on putting the scales I want, on the Rough Rider pattern I want.   But I've never done this.  Can anyone give me advice on how hard it is to remove the scales on a Rough rider knife?  I plan to do this for their scout knives and their large toothpicks.  I know there are pins that just hold the scales on and then a pin that is also there for the back spring.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hell everyone well i got the RR linerlock trappers. 1 in red jigged bone 1 in yellow comp. the design is almost identical to a boker trapperliner. the blade is identical, the thumbstud is steel and not plastic like the boker, the pivot washers are steel, the bokers are nylon. i really like the knife the only thing that i can find that i do not like is the cut out in the handle is not deep enough which makes opening a little difficult. fit and finish is good as usual with RR Brand. i reccomennd getting one. very disappointing Tobias.  Maybe something special will jump out at you.  No new patterns or handle materials either?
