I came across a lengthy post about 'Bill' not making a knife for somebody and taking his money....I bought two knives from him in Anchorage AK a few years ago. he was 'older' then, born in 1937. He studied under Gill Hibben and Wayne Goddard so he was no slouch. He is/was a Guild member from nearly the beginning, nice chap and i was sorry to read that post from 2017.Not excusing him but age sometimes does play tricks on people no matter how talented.Blue skies to you all,Craig/Miami See More

"Awesome to see this post about Larson Forge & Finish knives!  As a fellow Minnesotan, I try to support local makers whenever I can afford to.  That's a nice one you have there, looks like it fits your hand well."

French 1095 or Something Similar

Found this beaut at a gun show. 4 1/2" closed No lock, the back spring is tempered in such a way that the blade is as hard to open as it is to close! File work from the tip of the back spring to the end of the thumb ramp.Box wood handles held down by three brass pins, brass threaded bolster and liners. Touch mark looks like a Lilly. Blade was tarnished black and 'brightened' by me.See More

Good day Craig,

My apologies for not seeing this sooner! I have neglected this page a little. I must admit it is because I am not sure exactly how it works. I hope you get this message.

We have been in contact through Facebook mostly, but I have not yet received any information on Bill Sonneville from you. But I would love to! On him, his knives or on his wife Billie.

I'll keep an eye on this page now, I promise.

Best regards,

Jasper
